I was senior designer at Complete Control for seven years working on digital material for charities and children’s brands, as well as often providing project oversight for junior designers, programmers and illustrators. In 2007 I joined the University of the West of England as a Visiting Lecturer in Graphic Design whilst also working part time for a usability focused digital design agency. Since September 2009 I have been freelancing as a digital designer working with brands such as Aardman, the BBC and UNHCR.
In September 2011 I created 52 by 52, a weekly photo challenge set by fifty-two accomplished photographers throughout the course of a year. The project attracted some of the world’s leading contemporary photographers including Edward Burtynsky, Nadav Kander, Simon Norfolk, Terry O’Neill, Martin Parr and Alec Soth. I also curate subsequent projects 26 by 26 and 12 by 12.
I am available for consultancy, art direction, design and photography.
